The color green plays a prominent role in the Wizard of Oz, from the green of the hills, to the green of the Wicked Witch of the West to the green of the Emerald City. Green was the color of the day on Saturday, as a large crew descended upon the Albertson Halloween House for the first Community Painting Day of the year. With Toto-like determination, they moved through large sheet after large sheet of cardboard until we had what seemed to be enough for two Emerald Cities. Thanks to everyone who showed up!
