To re-create the fences shown in the Nightmare Before Christmas, I started with some aluminum tube pieces from an old broken canopy. The amazing crew at Options for All painted them gray (see the post about it here).

I hammered garden stakes into the ground where I wanted each post and then slipped the tubes over them.

For the cross beam, I used some irrigation tubing (also painted gray by Options for All).

I used zip ties to attach the irrigation tubing to the posts.

I made sure that the cross beam segments were curvy to match the Tim Burton style.

Finally, I added some cardboard ‘spikes’ on top of each post and stabbed some of the Styrofoam pumpkins on them to simulate the pumpkins in the opening scene of the movie.
